Tuesday Hill training

7pm on Tuesdays - 10th, 17th & 24th September and 1st October at Low Cross Wood Lane (opposite the College Lane entrance to Sydenham Hill station) 

Please do at least 5-10 minutes of gentle jogging beforehand, before we start at 7:00pm with some warm-ups and drills and then move onto the main session and finish by about 7:45-7:50pm or so.  The session is free of charge.  Do arrive ready to run - it should be safe to leave any jackets or water bottles etc.

We will be running up and down a well-lit traffic-free path – please keep enough room for any pedestrians to pass.  

The exact session will vary week by week, but you can expect a series of reps with a variety of gradients, intensities and lengths.  These should make you faster and stronger, and help with leg strength, co-ordination and technique ahead of the cross-country season.     

To make the most of the sessions you should be regularly running several times a week.  If you are returning from injury or illness etc feel free to build up gradually by taking longer breaks or do some easy running part way through the session.  

We will be back at Crystal Palace track from 8th October and they have said that they are not planning any further closures over the winter, so here's hoping we are there until April 2025.
